I remember Dead or Alive Volleyball. I mostly remember boobs more than volleyball for some reason.

Do I enjoy the games mechanics?

Is the soundtrack memorable, even over a long period of time?

Does it have a story worth paying attention to?

Will I want to play this game several times over throughout my lifetime?

If it's multiplayer, am I dumping several hundred hours into it?

If at least two of these are checked, I'd consider a game good.

Any game that you can spend hours playing without getting bored. Grand Theft Auto (any title after and including 3) is a really good example of this. I could literally go back to GTA 3 or 4 and enjoy playing it for ages
