Played some OJ, nearly won all three games but NEX pulled a clutch Here and There which cost me the game. I was two spaces away, got teleported, made my way back, was two spaces away again and then NEX rolled a 6 which was the exact number he needed.

If he didn't roll the six then there was a 5/6 chance I would've won that one. rip winning with aru

On the other hand, I cheesed with Poppo the first game by getting 150 stars then waiting for Star to get near my home, then I won with hyper. The second game I was irrelevant until the end because very one else spent so much time murdering each other and running away that I was the only one above Lv2 by the time my opportunity to steal all the stars showed up.

Stargazing still has zero wins, after like 44 matches lol.

What characters does she use? There are some which seem to be way more consistent than others; Marc comes to mind especially.

I don't remember exactly but she uses Nanako a fair bit and she used Krila twice today, I think the problem isn't her character as much as her poor decisions at crossroads. I've seen her throw away multiple games to bad choices. Like going to the warp instead of home or just going the path that will take her twice as long to reach home even though she has the stars for a level up.

Marc is a pain to deal with but I don't think she likes Marc because I've never seen her use it even though she plays with Ice and MK who both use Marc fairly often.

Krila seemed to be working for her if it wasn't for me so maybe she'll find success with her soon.

edit: also poor battle decisions that get her killed, like trying to evade a high roll when she has +2 defense and full health. I just tell her she'll get a win eventually because the time before last I pointed this out and she wasn't too happy with me.

Maybe she needs a bit of coaching to get the consistency she needs. Idk.

Fuck man I haven't played OJ in months and so many new MBers playing it now, I should defs get back into it sometime.

Well yeah, I was trying to help her when I was pointing out the poor choices she made but I got some bad vibes from her after that so I just left it alone. She'll win eventually on her own and then we'll all clap for her and party. She's not super bad at the game so I think she'll learn from experience soon enough. She's making less mistakes than she used to at least so I believe.

The first game we played today wasn't her fault even though she was really close to winning. I used Poppo and basically just waited for someone to get to level 5 and near my home. None of them really had a chance once I'd hit 150 stars with hyper ready to go. I felt awful, I never want to use Poppo again no matter how cool the top hat is.

Since awards prizes had three copies of the game some people decided to get into it. Star/Ice/MK have had it for a few months now though, just not over a year like some of us. Pi was gonna get it but I guess he has a Mac and can't get the windows steam thing working so that's sad.

also yeah, get back into it. I've been wanting to play it a lot but people are playing dota or aren't on to play all the time.

You're right actually, I don't remember ever playing much with him though since he only started binge playing it to level up quickly some time this year iirc. I think it was February actually that he did that, damn this year has gone by quick.

Either way, the only people I remember playing with back then were you, xp, tfp, turb, puddin and nitwit.

and I remember leaving for a week for school camp and suddenly tfp went from 10 levels below me to 12 above me. I missed a lot of precious oj time.

btw NEX played his first 3 games today and has more wins than star in 41 games lol. Granted he played Poppo but it's still pretty funny.

I played some La Pucelle Tactics. I bought it on a whim because it was on sale, and it's a pretty fun TRPG.

Been playing some Skyrim. I'm not overly fond of Elder Scrolls games, so I'm usually slow in playing them.

I couldn't really get into Oblivion when I tried it. Skyrim was ok but I didn't get very far. I really need to get around to trying Morrowind because from what I've seen it looks like the best one
