More recently, competitive gaming surfaced as a larger, more serious entertainment medium and career path. With websites like Twitch, it's pretty commonplace to watch others play games as much as you play games yourself, and as human nature drives people to be more competitive, it was only a matter of time it became this big in video games. It arises in many shapes and sizes, such as Mobas like League of Legends and Dota, Shooters like Counter-Strike and Call of Duty, RTS games like Starcraft II, and Fighters such as Street Fighter and Guilty Gear.
Are there any sort of competitive gaming scenes that any of you follow, or even watch occasionally?Â
I personally enjoy checking out a lot of Fighting Games, since they're incredibly fun to watch, so I can still enjoy them even though Is suck at them.
