one of my uncles committed suicide a few weeks ago so it was pretty shit. What with it being the first family meal without him, lots of grief and the like.

I am doing as well as can be expected given the circumstances, was and still is a hell of a ride. Unfortunately (or Fortunately depending on how you view it) we were not as close as we used to be, so I mostly just felt some regret as to having lost that connection and the inability to ever be able to restore it. Not to mention that my father also commit suicide as a result of what may have been similar motivations, so it is not an unfamiliar pain.
My mother however is devastated, as they relied on each other for support as they both suffer from the same mental illness (Bipolar). I can't imagine the true scope of what she is going through, all I can do is support her as best I can.

This place has been a ghost town lately, but me moving back across the pond, setting up an apartment, and settling in lead to my lack of activity. So that probably didn't help much in the slightest.
