Anyone else a fan of the series? I friggen love the series, and I own every game except 11.

It's hard to say which one I would place as a favorite, but I would say FF2 is my least favorite by far.
Well I've never played any before 7 (which happens to be my favorite) I've really enjoyed 9, 13 and 13-2. I've also played 8 and own the HD Remasters for 10 and 10-2.

Didn't like 8 at all and I haven't gotten to the 10's just yet, procrastination.. Lolz
I played the first game's GBA remake. That was a ton of fun but I did need a little help figuring out where to go.
That tends to be the case with NES RPG's, especially one as old as FF1.
I have played 4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 13, & 14. Of course, 14 is an MMO, so it's a bit different. I'm not a fan of the main character in 4, because Cecil is a whiner.
The final boss in FF4 is pissing me off. It's only attack is basically a nuke attack where it does 5K damage, and Cecil is the only one who survives it. It's a big bitch, and idk how much more I have to grind when I'm at level 80.
For those not keeping tabs, Final Fantasy IX will be receiving a PC port, having it be the first time in the game's history that it will be altered in any way through being ported, with polished textures, Achievements, an autosave feature, and seven game boosters, including high speed and no encounter modes.

With this piece of news, we only await 5 more FF games to be appropriately ported to PC:

I
II
X
X-2
XII

Now, I can definitely foresee I and II being ported in the near future, since everything else that made it to mobile is there, and can maybe see XII down the line, but I'm not entirely sure on X and X-2, since they had PS3, 4 and Vita ports within recent times and still haven't seemed to be considered. Wouldn't it be opportune to have them do that when they released it on other platforms? It can still very well come, it's just very well a mystery if and when.
1 and 2 are basically no brainers on PC, as those games were ported to a metric fuckton of consoles.

Who knows with both 10's and 12. Though you can never tell with Square and PC releases.

If you can morally justify it, then you could always run 10 & 10-2 & 12 on a PS2 emulator. The PS2 emulators out there work quite well.
The only FF game I really liked was Tactics Advanced and that's not even a 'real' FF game.
